Job Description:
Key Responsibilities
- Design and maintain distributed storage system software
- Develop and enhance high-availability clustering solutions
- Drive system integration across storage, networking, and OS layers
- Debug complex issues across software, OS, networking, and hardware
- Develop automation and configuration management tooling
- Integrate APIs and management interfaces
- Support containerized and virtualized deployments
- Assist support team in root causing customer issues and come up with appropriate fixes.
Required Skills
- Linux systems expertise (systemd, RHEL/Rocky, debugging)
- Building and integrating 3rd party and vendor kernel modules with OS.
- Storage: MD, RAID, ZFS, XFS, ext4, block vs object storage
- High Availability: Pacemaker/Corosync
- Programming: C/C++, plus Go/Python/Bash scripting
- Networking: TCP/IP, Ethernet, IB, RDMA/RoCE
- Hardware: SAS, SCSI, NVMe, HBAs
- APIs: REST/HTTPS, gRPC, Redfish/Swordfish
- Containerization/Virtualization: Docker/Podman, KVM/VMware
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or related field
- 4–6+ years of relevant systems or storage development experience
- Proven delivery of distributed systems or storage platforms
- Strong cross-domain expertise across storage, OS, networking, and hardware
- Excellent debugging and problem-solving skills

The expected salary/wage range for this position is provided below. Actual offer may vary from this range based upon geographic location, work experience, education/training, and/or skill level.
– United States of America: Annual Salary USD 111,500 - 211,500 in Colorado // 106,000 - 243,000 in Minnesota
The listed salary range reflects base salary. Variable incentives may also be offered.
