Your Typical Shift

You start by checking the day's priorities against open work orders and inbound shipments, then walk the floor to confirm the stockroom is ready for the pace of a technical manufacturing environment. Inventory management is hands-on: you review transactions in the WMS/ERP, spot-check locations, and clear small issues before they become shortages.

Throughout the day you coordinate with Production, Purchasing, and Shipping as priorities move, keep communication tight, and make sure the team has coverage where it matters. You'll spend time validating count results, closing out paperwork cleanly, and keeping the area safe and organized. By late afternoon, you confirm tomorrow's needs, review any exceptions, and leave the stockroom and warehouse set up for a clean start.
