Role: Starburst Admin
Location: Irving, TX (3 Days onsite/week)
Job Description:
Understand the SEP cluster design and sizing, as well customization and configuration as per business requirements.
Ability to troubleshoot the complex technical issues & effective communication to the business users.
Ability to monitor end to end starburst infrastructure.
To configure & install multiple connectors in starburst environment. ( Hive , Oracle , IBM S3 , Iceberg , snowflake etc )
Day to day administration activities ( BAU activities )
Capacity planning and on-ongoing monitoring.
Load balancing & Performance tuning.
Work with multiple infrastructure teams to ensure an effective operating environment.
maintain & continuously improve the infrastructure as per business requirements.
To implement the regular upgrades available for SEP platform.
To perform OS patching tasks across environment.
Basis Knowledge of CyberArk onboarding.
Implementation of Monitoring automation.
Understanding of securing cluster access, authentication types, auditing etc.
Communicating to Business & Maintaining the standards.
End to end Infrastructure support.
Mandatory Skills: Startburst.
Experience: 8-10 Years.
The expected compensation for this role ranges from $80,000 to $158,000 .
Final compensation will depend on various factors, including your geographical location, minimum wage obligations, skills, and relevant experience. Based on the position, the role is also eligible for Wipro's standard benefits including a full range of medical and dental benefits options, disability insurance, paid time off (inclusive of sick leave), other paid and unpaid leave options.
