What you will enjoy doing*- You will lead day-to-day operations, supervising technical, production, maintenance, and other staff to ensure area production and activities are completed efficiently
- Recruit, select, orient, and train new employees, and oversee the performance of contracted work as required
- Further, resolve workflow problems and conflicts by analyzing impediments and organizing work to maximize personnel and material resources
- Ensure employee adherence to Standard Operating Procedures and safety policies while monitoring employee activity, output, and performance
- Also, identify issues and lead improvement plans for production processes, overtime levels, and training, and address or escalate equipment, product quality, and delivery issues as required
- Set employee performance expectations, provide guidance and feedback, and support career progression and performance improvement
What makes you great - You have an Associate degree or equivalent experience and five or more years of operations experience, with the ability to lead day-to-day operations across technical, production, maintenance, and other staff
- Recruit, select, orient, and train new employees, oversee contracted work, and ensure area production and activities are completed efficiently
- Moreover, strong good communication skills and computer skills, including proficiency in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and online databases
- Resolve workflow problems and conflicts by organizing work to maximize personnel and material resources, while ensuring compliance with Standard Operating Procedures and safety policies
- Identify issues and lead improvement plans for production processes, overtime levels, and training. Address or escalate equipment, product quality, and delivery issues as required
- You are capable of setting employee performance expectations, providing guidance and feedback, monitoring performance, and supporting career progression and improvement
