About the job

This position is needed to build extraordinary tools and solutions for our rapidly growing Go-To-Market teams.

The GTM Systems Operations is crucial for the success and scalability of our Go-to-Market efforts. We are the drivers of the system, process, and data improvements that unlock new possibilities across the Sales and Customer Success organization. The Solutions Architect will work with our global team to architect, manage, and build scalable solutions for the opportunity lifecycle.

Responsibilities

In this role, you'll:

  • Collaborate with product owners, builders, and program managers to architect and manage solutions within Salesforce as well as adjacent technologies and systems.
  • Design and Implement solutions including (but not be limited to) Front end ( VF, SLD, SLD2), Backend Process ( Flows, Triggers, Apex, Batch), 3rd party integrations ( Trey.io, Workato, Mulesoft, SF Pubsub/ grpc, Webhooks), data model and pipeline ( Data Cloud, Snowflake, Presto, DBT, Amazon Glue) ensuring scalability, system health, and end user personas/experience.
  • Should be able to read, review and design Object oriented programing code like APEX, Python and set based scripting language like SOQL and SQL.
  • Develop and maintain a holistic view of CRM - processes and user personas to ensure your projects are compatible with upstream and downstream systems and processes
  • Be a thought partner and communication bridge between Product manager, Technical Lead and Stakeholders by designing thoughtful technical solutions keeping overall CRM Platform and sales user experience in mind.
  • Communicate regularly with a diverse group of stakeholders with different priorities, levels of maturity and technical acumen
  • In partnership with the product owner and product manager, lead projects end to end to improve the way our Go-To-Market and internal teams track and manage Lead routing, Lead management, Lead to Opportunity, Forecasting and the Opportunity lifecycle

*Required:
  • 8-10 years of experience with Salesforce.com implementation, including 3-5 years of experience with Lead routing, Lead to contact conversion, Marketo and Outreach integrations and Opportunity management.
  • 5+ years experience designing and implementing large scale automation and architecture changes within Salesforce
  • Demonstrated ability to understand business needs and translate user requirements into Salesforce solutions
  • Salesforce Admin Certification
  • Advanced knowledge of Salesforce declarative automation
  • Strong presentation, communication, and facilitation skills
  • Demonstrated ability to translate complex technical architecture into digestible information for varying levels of experience and detail
  • Experience collaborating with a global team and working in a multi geographical environment.

Desired:
  • Salesforce Platform App Builder or Salesforce Developer 1 Certifications
  • Experience designing and building in Salesforce for a large user base (2000+)
  • Experience mentoring and developing colleagues as a peer
  • Experience partnering with third-party tool vendors and collaborating on feature implementation
  • Salesforce Architecture certifications
  • Active in the Salesforce community.


Location

This role will be remote, but is not eligible to be hired in CA, CT, NJ, NY, PA, WA.

Travel

We prioritize connection and opportunities to build relationships with our customers and each other. For this role, approximately 10% travel is anticipated to help you connect in-person in a meaningful way.

Compensation

*Please note this role is open to candidates outside of California, Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Massachusetts, Minnesota, New Jersey, New York, Vermont, Washington D.C., and Washington State. The information below is provided for candidates hired in those locations only.

The estimated pay ranges for this role are as follows:
  • Based in Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Massachusetts, Minnesota, Vermont or Washington D.C. : $126,560 - $160,700.
  • Based in New York, New Jersey, Washington State, or California (outside of the San Francisco Bay area): $136,000 - $170,000.
  • Based in the San Francisco Bay area, California: $151,120 - $188,900.
  • This role may be eligible to participate in Twilio's equity plan and corporate bonus plan. All roles are generally eligible for the following benefits: health care insurance, 401(k) retirement account, paid sick time, paid personal time off, paid parental leave.

The successful candidate's starting salary will be determined based on permissible, non-discriminatory factors such as skills, experience, and geographic location.
