Staff Software Engineer, you will lead the design and delivery of scalable platform capabilities, driving the full software development lifecycle from coding to deployment and maintenance. You will apply cloud-native architecture principles and integrate AI/ML technologies to build innovative solutions that enhance engineering productivity and platform resilience. This role requires strong technical leadership, mentoring, and collaboration across teams to ensure alignment with business goals and architectural standards. You will leverage data-driven practices to define success metrics, continuously improve processes, and contribute to engineering excellence within a dynamic environment.
What you'll do: - Deliver platform capabilities including infrastructure, tooling, and ML frameworks aligned with roadmap milestones and domain priorities.
- Drive full software development lifecycle activities such as coding, testing, deployment, monitoring, and maintenance.
- Apply cloud-native architecture principles to ensure scalable, resilient, and agile systems.
- Conduct system design reviews to validate feasibility and ensure alignment with architectural best practices.
- Build AI-driven applications integrating AI agents and ML components for automation and multi-step reasoning.
- Mentor engineers, influence technical decisions, and promote engineering excellence through documentation and knowledge sharing.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to define technical requirements and track success metrics using data-driven practices.
What you'll bring: - Proven expertise in cloud-native architecture, including microservices, containers, and automation to ensure scalable and resilient systems.
- Strong proficiency in software design patterns, API design, and platform development to deliver maintainable and modular solutions.
- Experience with full software development lifecycle ownership on full stack products , including coding, testing, CI/CD deployment, and observability.
- Ability to integrate AI/ML components and AI agents using languages such as Java, Python, JavaScript, and GraphQL
- Experience with NoSQL and SQL databases.
- Skilled in conducting design reviews and applying data-driven decision-making to optimize engineering outcomes.
- Demonstrated leadership in mentoring engineers and influencing technical decisions for long-term sustainability.
- Effective collaboration and communication skills to engage cross-functional teams and stakeholders.

The annual salary range for this position is $143,000.00 - $286,000.00
Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses.

Option 1: Bachelor's degree in computer science, computer engineering, computer information systems, software engineering, or related area and 4 years' experience in software engineering or related area.
