What you'll do

As a Staff Software Engineer in Banking, you will help shape the technical direction of one of Brex's most strategic and complex product areas. In this role, you'll work across customer-facing product surfaces and core financial infrastructure, driving architecture, reliability, and execution across that full stack.

You will partner closely with engineering, product, design, data, operations, risk, compliance, and external partners to simplify complex systems, improve reliability, and help the organization deliver ambitious product outcomes without losing sight of operational excellence.

You should be excited to lead through influence, bring clarity to ambiguous spaces, and raise the bar for how we design and operate banking systems at scale. This is a broad staff role spanning architecture, reliability, and product delivery, with meaningful opportunities to shape both the systems we build and how the Banking org works together.
