Full Job Description
You're the PM who wants the whole thing: the strategy, the roadmap, the pricing conversation, the launch, and the number at the end of it. You're comfortable making the call before you have every answer, and you use AI tools every day because that's how you build now. You'll report to the VP Product and work alongside a dedicated engineering and design team who are building this product with you. You'll work with Marketing and Sales on how it goes to market, and you'll spend real time with the customers using it. When someone asks where this product is going and why, you're the one with the answer. Your Mission? To double Klue's revenue in 12 months by building something customers keep coming back for, Sales can sell on their own, and the market hears about. You own the strategy, the quality bar and the commercial outcome. When the product wins, you win. What's In It for You You'll learn what it takes to build an AI-first product from the ground up: how it's shaped, priced, sold and made good. That's a different craft from bolting AI onto something that already exists, and very few companies are doing it at this stage. The scope is clear and the target is big, so a year from now you'll know exactly what you built and what it moved. What You'll Do • Own the strategy and roadmap. You decide where the Product goes, what gets built, what gets cut and in what order. You'll make the case to our VP, Product and exec team, weigh near-term revenue against longer bets, and stand behind the calls you make. You'll also set the shipping rhythm with the engineering and design team so customers notice the product getting better over time. • Run your own discovery. Sit in on customer calls and talk to users directly. Build a repeatable loop that turns feedback into prioritized decisions, bring evidence into roadmap debates, and know the customer base well enough to spot which segment the next bet is for. • Set the quality bar for AI. Work with engineering on model quality and evals: what good output looks like and how we measure it. Stay close enough to what's technically possible that you can reshape the roadmap when it shifts. Enterprise customers need to trust an AI product before they rely on it, and you'll define what earns that trust. • Collaborate with Sales & Marketing. Guide marketing with positioning. Enable Sales so reps can run the conversation on their own. Partner with Demand Gen on the pipeline this product needs to generate, and bring whatever is blocking deals back into the roadmap. What Success Looks Like We want you to love the role you're in and believe these skills and experiences will help you be successful! You'll know you're nailing it when: • Revenue Growth. Product revenue doubles within 12 months. • Shipped Changes. A much better version is live within 2 weeks, usage is up, and customers are asking for more without being chased. • Retention improves year over year. Retention on this product improves year over year, and every churn has a known reason that's traceable to a product decision or a deliberate trade-off. • The product builds its own pipeline. The product is generating its own pipeline and Sales can run the pitch without pulling you in. • Customer Feedback. A running discovery cadence you own, with a clear line from what customers said to what got built. • Product Quality. Evals and a defined quality bar are in place for the AI surface, and output quality is trending up against them. • Independent Ownership. You run this product without the VP, Product in the detail. Hard calls still get escalated, you just arrive with a recommendation and the thinking behind it, so the conversation starts from your point of view. What You Bring Must-Haves • 0 to 1 experience. You've taken a product or major product line from nothing to real revenue, and you can walk us through what you got wrong along the way. • AI-native. You build with AI tools daily and have a clear view of what models can and can't do today. • GTM thinking. You've owned or been accountable for a number, and you treat pricing, packaging and go-to-market as part of the product job. • Consumer-grade UX for enterprise buyers. You've built products where the user and the buyer are different people, and you've met a high bar for both. • Decisive with incomplete information. You make the call, move, and change course fast when the evidence says to. • Hands-on discovery. You talk to customers directly and regularly, and you trust that over a summary. Nice-to-Haves • Experience with a competitive intelligence, market intelligence or research product, or selling into that buyer. • Technical enough to dig into evals and model behaviour with engineers yourself. ↓ ↓ ↓ ↓ ↓ ↓ ↓ ↓ ↓ ↓ ↓ ↓ ↓ ↓ ↓ ↓ ↓ Not ticking every box? That's okay. We take potential into consideration. An equivalent combination of education and experience may be accepted in lieu of the specifics listed above. If you know you have what it takes, even if that's different from what we've described, be sure to explain why in your application.
