Discovery Sports is seeking aStaffProductDesignerforBleacher Reportwithin theSports and Entertainmentorganization.Bleacher Report is a leading digital destination for next-generation sports fans, creating cross-platform experiences at the intersection of sports, culture, and real-time storytelling across its app, website, and social channels.

Reporting to theDirector,Product Design, thisrole willhelp shape the future of sports fandom across our digital products and platforms.This role requires deep knowledge of sports, strong familiarity with digital sports products, and a clear understanding of sports audience behaviors, fandom, and liveand creatorcontent consumption patterns.This roleis responsible forhelping to driveproduct vision, influencing strategy, and creating alignment across multiple teams, platforms, and customer journeys.You'llpartner withDesign Operations,Product, Engineering,UserResearch, Data, and business leaders to solve ambiguous problems,identifyopportunities for innovation, and deliver experiences that drive meaningful customer and business impact.

As aStaffProduct Designer,you'llbe a highly influential individual contributor whohelpsshape product direction, elevate design quality, and mentor other designers whileremainingdeeply involved inraising the bar for UX Designand execution.

The Work

  • Leadhighly complex, cross-functional initiatives that span multiple products, platforms, and customerexperiences.

  • Partner closely withDesign Operations,Product Managers, Engineers,UserResearchers, andBusiness Stakeholdersto define and deliver customer-centered solutions.

  • Translate customer insights, businessobjectives, and technical constraints into intuitive and engaging experiences.

  • Create workflows, wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs that clearly communicate product direction and intent.

  • Leverage customer research, analytics, experimentation, and market insights to inform design decisions.

  • Contribute to and evolve design systems, patterns, and reusable components that improve consistency and scalability.

  • Apply systems thinking to understand and improve experiences across the broader sports fan ecosystem.

  • Participate in roadmap discussions and helpidentifyopportunities to improve customer engagement and business outcomes.

  • Collaborate effectively across teams to ensure high-quality execution and delivery.

  • Mentor and support other designers through feedback, collaboration, and design critique.

  • Explore emerging technologies, including AI-powered experiences and AI-assisted workflows, to improve both customer experiences and team effectiveness.

  • 8+ years of experience designing digital consumer products and experiences.

  • Proventrack recordleading complex, ambiguous, and strategically important initiatives.

  • Strong portfoliodemonstratingend-to-end product design workand customer-centered problem solving.

  • Experience influencing product strategy and driving alignment across multiple teams and stakeholders.

  • Strong communication, facilitation, storytelling, and stakeholder management skills.

  • Experienceleveragingresearch, customer insights, analytics, and experimentation to shape product direction.

  • Ability to balance long-term vision with practical execution.

  • Experience with AI-native products, AI-powered experiences, personalization systems, or emerging technologiesstronglypreferred.

  • Demonstrated success mentoring and developing designers preferred.

  • Experience designing large-scale consumer platforms, ecosystems, or multi-product experiences preferred.

  • Experience in sports, media, entertainment, streaming, gaming, or consumer technology preferred.

Preferred

  • Experience designing for live sports, highlights, second-screen, stats, community, or socially driven fan experiences

  • Experience with motion, prototyping, or storytelling tools that help bring concepts to life
