Responsibilities

NORTON RHEUMATOLOGY SPECIALISTS, a part of Norton Healthcare located in Louisville, Kentucky, is seeking a board-certified or board-eligible rheumatologist to join its growing team. The group has six rheumatologists, one advanced practice provider, and regularly collaborates with clinicians in subspecialty disciplines such as dermatology, hematology, nephrology, orthopedics and pulmonology.

The ideal candidates will work in an outpatient care setting and be part of a practice that serves more than 15,000 patients each year. Norton Rheumatology is a progressive group offering a range of services within Norton Medical Group, a physician-led medical group that employs more than 2,300 physicians and providers and offers a strong network of referrals.

The physician is responsible for recording a detailed medical history of each patient in the electronic medical record, including, but not limited to, chief complaint, present condition, individual history, and family history. Performing appropriate physical examination of each patient. Analyzing reports and/or findings of tests and personal examinations in order to assess the medical condition of the patient, including diagnosing the patient's injury or illness and formulating a prognosis.
