Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Robotics, Computer Vision, Electrical Engineering, or related field.
• 8+ years of experience building and deploying ML models in production; tech lead or staff-equivalent role preferred.
• Mastery in at least 2 of the 4 perception verticals.
• Working proficiency across model training, evaluation, optimization, cloud and edge deployment, and MLOps.
• Proven ability to mentor engineers and lead technical discussions.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, capable of crafting clear design documents and project plans.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end delivery of large-scope perception projects, ensuring a smooth transition from design to production.
• Define and document technical approaches; ensure alignment among Deep Learning, Platform, and Product teams.
• Mentor junior and mid-level engineers through code review and hands-on design feedback.
• Contribute to the team roadmap, evaluating and prioritizing new technical investments.
• Set and maintain high engineering quality standards for model development, MLOps, and deployment.
