Job DescriptionNT Concepts is seeking a Senior UX Designer / Developer to join our Vienna, Virginia team. The candidate will create rich user experiences (websites, dashboards, application/mobile UIs) across a variety of platforms and devices. We need a team player who can adapt to a multitude of development environments, and use their awe-inspiring skills to influence, elevate, and energize people and projects.
Essential Job Duties- Collaborate with the customers/project leads to achieve a deep understanding of their requirements and needs
- Create sketches, wireframes and prototypes to map out, visualize and test application flow
- Develop and integrate frameworks, graphics, javascripts, CSS and other support assets
- Research, resolve, and document technical problems and obstacles
- Ensure that best practices and standards are followed
- Deliver a great user experience, in terms of visual appeal, intuitiveness, ease of use, device independence, and style
QualificationsEducation / Experience Requirements:Successful candidate will possess the following skills and attributes:- Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a related field
- Position requires a minimum of 4 years of experience in UI design
- Advanced knowledge of web technologies, frameworks and tools, jQuery/CSS2-3/HTML4-5
- Excellent command of Adobe CS products
- SharePoint MOSS/2010 design experience a plus
- Solid understanding of interface design and information architecture
- Ability to design and produce user experiences, from storyboard concept to final solution
- Strong diagnostic, troubleshooting, and critical thinking skills relating to the design, creation, and testing
- Ability to develop complex UI code and integrate artwork, text, and multimedia
- A passion for clean, compliant, and semantic markup
- Position requires clear and effective written and oral communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
