Full Job Description
Senior Technical Advisor to support the Program Management Office (PMO) operation at an existing Federal client. The position requires programming skills as well as customer-facing soft skills and a familiarity with software development in a federal agency culture.

Key responsibilities include the following:
• Provide technical advisory on a variety of projects and challenges facing the office mission. This includes helping government stakeholders establish consistent and functional, function, application and system architecture that is consistent with service oriented architecture (SOA) best practices regardless of technology stack.
• Provide technical guidance and implementation assistance with regards to data repositories, and integration.
• Provide technical oversight for the independent assessment of application and system architecture.
• Establish data repository guidelines and rules.
• Attend senior level meetings with stakeholders and advise on progress, challenges, and best practices.

Basic Qualifications:
• Software development skills
• Fundamental familiarity with and ability to discuss development activities
• This position requires the candidate to be professional, self-motivated, and engage with government stakeholders in a professional manner.
• Strong oral and written communication methods and techniques. Ability to actively participate in business meetings with government stakeholders and provide recommendations on IT issues and solutions.

Security Clearance:
• Must have an active US Government Top Secret Clearance

W-2 employees are preferred, but we will also consider 1099 or C2C.
