SOSi is seeking a
Senior Systems Engineer to support operations and sustainment of a mission-critical enterprise application supporting federal business operations.
Job DescriptionThe Senior Systems Engineer will provide technical leadership supporting production operations, infrastructure integration, database technologies, release management, and enterprise system performance within a large IBM mainframe environment.
Responsibilities- Support IBM z/OS production environments.
- Maintain and support IDMS database environments.
- Support production deployments and release activities.
- Troubleshoot system performance issues and production incidents.
- Support configuration management and technical documentation.
- Coordinate system changes across technical teams.
Qualifications- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field. Equivalent experience may be substituted.
- 10+ years supporting enterprise systems.
- Experience supporting mission-critical production operations.
- Strong IBM mainframe experience.
- IBM z/OS, IDMS, Oracle, Cognos, Broadcom Endevor, Production Operations, System Integration.
- Ability to obtain Public Trust clearance.
Preferred:
- Large-scale financial or ERP systems.
- Federal enterprise environments.
Additional InformationWork Environment- Normal office conditions with potential to perform duties in deployed locations
- Remote or Hybrid work model
- Core hours of operation are Monday through Friday, 0600 - 1700.
- May be requested to work evenings and weekends to meet program and contract needs
