Key Responsibilities: - Assesses future of pediatric specialties & key innovation trends (e.g., population health trends and new clinical innovations shaping patient needs)
- Conducts external market scans and competitive assessments (e.g., working with large external marketshare datasets to identify trends, peer-competitive landscape research, and financial impact analyses/P&L modeling as needed); commissions and interprets supplemental analyses from the Analytics Team
- Develops service line growth goals and strategic options for senior leadership (e.g., supporting due diligence, financial modeling, and scenario analysis for proposed strategy)
- Supports development of enterprise, service line, and functional strategies aligned with BCH's mission and long-term goals; translates strategic recommendations into clear problem statements and priority questions that the Transformation and Analytics Teams can act on
- Assists with annual strategic planning cycles, including framing strategic choices and priority-setting; partners with the Analytics Team for performance data and the Transformation Team for initiative scoping
- Develops executive-level presentations, business cases, and briefing materials for senior leadership and governance committees
- Engages clinical and operational stakeholders to gather input that informs strategic analyses and recommendations
- Monitors and develops point of view on industry trends from a policy/investment/market activity lens
- Begins to mentor and coach Associates and interns to develop management skills
Education Required:Bachelor's Degree
Education Preferred:Master's Degree
Experience Required:Minimum 3 years of experience, preferably in consulting, project management, health system operations, or other healthcare setting.
