Sr. Staff Embedded Software Engineer Location: Littleton, CO or Jacksonville, FL
Overview Seeking a senior-level Embedded Software Engineer to develop highly reliable firmware for microprocessor-based systems, including SoC/SoM platforms used in aerospace/space hardware.
Responsibilities - Develop embedded software/firmware to system requirements
- Perform software design, static/dynamic analysis, testing, and verification
- Create software requirements, design documentation, and technical specifications
- Support Agile development, task estimation, and V&V activities
- Collaborate with hardware, software, and quality teams
- Provide technical leadership throughout the software development lifecycle
Required - BS/MS in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Math, or related field
- 10+ years of embedded software development
- Strong Embedded Linux experience
- Strong C/C++
- Experience with SoC/SoM systems
- Hardware interface experience: UART, SPI, I2C, CAN, Serial, Ethernet
- Experience with complete SDLC in a regulated/high-reliability environment such as aerospace, defense, medical, etc.
- Linux OS fundamentals: networking, memory management, file systems, schedulers
- Git, Make/CMake, Jira
- Experience leading software projects from requirements through V&V
- US Citizenship required
