About the Role:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced drug discovery biologist join our growing Discovery
Biology team. The successful candidate brings significant hands-on expertise in cell-based assay
development and enablement to drive early drug discovery programs. The candidate will lead from the bench
and contribute to biology strategy and execution across Superluminal programs.

Key Responsibilities:
• This role is hands-on and wet lab-focused to drive programs from hit finding through all phases of early
discovery.
• Independently design, develop and execute a broad array of cell-based assays to interrogate GPCR
function and signaling.
• Generate, analyze, document, and upload experimental and routine screening data to company
databases in a timely and accurate manner.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with computational, chemistry and protein science colleagues to
conceptualize, design, and execute novel screening assays.
• Regularly communicate findings with program teams and present at project & company-wide meetings.
• Ensure compliance with established laboratory practices, SOPs, and company policies, including both
wet lab and electronic data management requirements.

Minimum Qualifications
• Ph.D. in Biology or a related life sciences field, with 5 or more years of relevant industry experience.
• Demonstrated hands-on experience developing, executing, and interpreting cell-based assays using
multiple assay formats and platforms, including functional assays, target engagement assays, kinetic
assays, plate-based assays, flow cytometry, and high-content imaging.
• Small molecule drug discovery experience required.
• Demonstrated problem-solving skills and ability to develop innovative solutions to complex challenges.
• Ability to work onsite 5 days a week required.

Preferred Qualifications:
• Experience with GPCR biology is highly desired.
• Experience with assay automation, high-throughput screening, or laboratory robotics is a plus.
• Management experience is a plus.
