Join OpenText's Revenue Recognition team as a
Senior Revenue Recognition Analyst and play a key role in supporting global cloud revenue recognition activities. In this position, you'll partner with teams across Billing Operations, Sales, Deal Desk, FP&A, and Finance to ensure accurate revenue recognition, timely reporting, and compliance with accounting standards.
Your Impact- Review customer contracts and ensure revenue is recognized in compliance with ASC 606.
- Calculate percentage-of-completion (POC) revenue for professional services engagements.
- Support month-end and quarter-end close activities related to revenue recognition.
- Prepare journal entries, including SSP allocations, in accordance with company policy.
- Maintain deferred revenue schedules and perform GL account reconciliations.
- Investigate and resolve revenue fluctuations in partnership with Billing Operations and Finance.
- Assist with SOX testing, internal and external audits, and audit inquiries.
- Drive process improvements and perform ad hoc analysis to support business decisions.

What You Need to Succeed- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- 3-5 years of accounting and/or finance experience.
- Experience with revenue recognition, preferably ASC 606.
- Strong analytical and data analysis skills.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel proficiency.
- Experience with SAP and Salesforce is an asset.
- Experience in the technology, software, or cloud industry is preferred.
- Strong attention to detail, problem-solving abilities, and a proactive mindset.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
