Location: Overland Park, KS (Kansas City Metro)

This is a full-time, in-office position based in Overland Park, KS.

What You'll Do
  • You will own the Steadily approach to large-loss claims handling, helping create a fast, easy, and effortless experience for our customers on claims that matter most.
  • Manage a caseload of large and complex property losses exceeding $100,000, from initial assignment through resolution
  • Request appraisals, estimates, cause & origin reports, and various other reports to assist in the investigation of the claim
  • Investigate the origin and cause of claims by contacting the appropriate parties including insureds, claimants, agents, attorneys, contractors, experts, special investigation unit, law enforcement, and other adjusters
  • Scope, evaluate, and negotiate high-severity property damage, including total losses, structural damage, and loss of rent where applicable
  • Evaluate coverage, identify subrogation potential, and partner with counsel as needed
  • Set and maintain accurate reserves on high-exposure files


Your Background
  • Experienced: You must possess at least 3 years experience adjusting P&C insurance claims, with a track record handling large, complex property losses over $100k. You're a property claims savant. Experience in homeowners, condo, and landlord insurance is a plus.
  • Nice to have: You have prior leadership experience. AIC and/or ARM is a plus. You must possess an adjuster license.
  • Self-Driven: You thrive under intense pressure and can manage a high-stakes caseload with precision.
