*** Active Clearance or active within the past 24 months, DoD Top Secret or reciprocity equivalent JOB SUMMARY:The Trace3 Government Sr. Project Manager is responsible for the strategic direction, management, and execution of a program to achieve mission-critical goals of the customer and the company. This role ensures programs are executed efficiently, effectively, and in full compliance with the Statement of Work. The Sr. Project Manager works collaboratively with Engineering, Sales, Recruiting, colleagues, and customer teams requiring an understanding and familiarity with overall project execution, including budgeting and financial management, contractual compliance, staff augmentation, employee attraction and retention, personnel management, and corporate finance. The Sr. Project Manager has responsibility and accountability for the delivery of the project with excellence, high quality and customer satisfaction while obtaining the planned gross profit for Trace3 Government. The ideal candidate is a natural leader with excellent communication skills, a proven ability to manage complex initiatives, and a focus on delivering long-term business outcomes. The Sr. Project Manager will maintain visibility into risks, issues, decisions, changes, deliverables, and customer commitments through completion.
SUMMARY OF ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:- Lead program execution of assigned statement of work
- Develop and maintain the integrated program roadmap, work breakdown structure, schedule, milestones, dependencies, staffing plan, and execution cadence, updating them as priorities or customer requirements change.
- Lead team planning sessions, execution reviews, and status meetings; coordinate work across architecture, system administration, network engineering, cybersecurity, and other supporting functions
- Establish and manage program-level risk, issue, action, decision, dependency, and change logs; drive mitigation, escalation, and resolution.
- Coordinate technical and program decisions with the Engineering Lead and technical team, communicating impacts to scope, schedule, cost, quality, security, and customer commitments.
- Establish a regular stakeholder communication and reporting cadence, provide forward-looking forecasts, and raise blockers early with recommended courses of action.

- Establish and track program objectives, metrics to evaluate implementation and coordinate with customers for high satisfaction
- Coordinate with the Engineering Lead for each project to optimize resource allocation for skill requirements for execution while achieving financial goals
- Develop and monitor budgets for projects and programs, ensuring financial accountability and efficient resource allocation.
- Represent team to Trace3 leadership or internal stakeholders to ensure issues, questions, and concerns of team members are addressed appropriately.
- Foster a high-performance culture built on accountability, engagement, and continuous improvement.
- Serves as the primary interface and point of contact with government program authorities and representatives on program/project regarding contract growth opportunities
- Maintain clear customer alignment on objectives, roadmap, priorities, decisions, risks, and changes while keeping the team focused on authorized scope.
- Acts as a proactive problem solver and adapts quickly to changing priorities.
- Briefs senior leadership on overall health of contract; anticipates any hiccups and provides solutions
- Assists in transition activities for contract start and completion
- Develop statements of work and cost estimates, with the help of the engineering team, for potential opportunities
- Conducts duties and responsibilities with full understanding of clients' requirements and the relevant policies and regulations
- Coordinate compliance with customer security, access-control, information-handling, and other applicable contractual requirements without assuming the technical security owner role.
- Ensure that the project(s) and its personnel maintain the proper direction in fulfillment of the contract scope of work
- Acts as a POC for the HC Recruiting team for any clarification or feedback related to staff augmentation, anticipated contract growth, current and/or future resourcing needs and timelines
- Works collaboratively with project team and clients, conducting periodic visits to assess the status of project activities and to contribute to administrative, technical or evaluation work in the field
- Formulates and enforces work standards, assignments, schedules, and reviews of contract deliverables
- Provides contract budgets (contract budget modifications, quarterly reports, monthly reports, etc.) to CORs when needed. Ensures the accuracy of all budgetary items presented to the COR
- Reviews and provides comments on progress reports, work plans and other documents to ensure compliance with company standards and contract requirements
- Maintain traceability between scope, work plans, status reporting, deliverables, and customer acceptance or review requirements.
REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:- Demonstrated experience building and managing integrated program plans, roadmaps, schedules, work breakdown structures, and dependency networks for complex technical work.
- Experience leading cross-functional teams through design, build, migration or transition, and operational delivery.
- Experience with risk, issue, action, decision, dependency, and change management, including impact analysis, escalation, and mitigation tracking.
- Ability to translate contractual and customer requirements into executable work packages, acceptance criteria, and measurable status.
- Experience managing programs in a government contracting or regulated environment, including familiarity with the Federal Acquisition Regulation and subcontract or purchase-order terms.
- Proven ability to lead diverse teams, delegate effectively, and manage conflicts in a matrix environment.
- Significant, progressively responsible experience in program or project management, 5+ years of experience managing complex programs or portfolios
- Familiarity with the Federal Acquisitions Regulations (FAR)
- Exceptional written and oral communication skills, including the ability to brief senior executives and deliver testimony or public presentations.
- ACTIVE Security Clearance: Top Secret minimum, TS/SCI preferred
PREFERRED PROGRAM EXPERIENCE:- Experience managing IT infrastructure programs involving network engineering, systems administration, cybersecurity, virtualized workloads, or specialized endpoints.
- Experience coordinating delivery in isolated, air-gapped, classified, or otherwise high-security environments with strict access and information-handling requirements.
- Familiarity with NIST-based cybersecurity controls and the program-management implications of security, privacy, export-control, or sensitive-information requirements.
- Experience supporting phased migration, transition, or scale-up activities across multiple locations or workstreams.

Actual salary will be based on a variety of factors, including location, experience, skill set, performance, licensure and certification, and business needs. The range for this position in other geographic locations may differ. Certain positions may also be eligible for variable incentive compensation, such as bonuses or commissions, that is not included in the base salary.
