We are looking to hire a K-12
Senior Project Manager with experience building schools and successfully working w/ various school districts in DFW.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and oversee the daily construction activities on the project site
- Coordinate with subcontractors to ensure that all work is completed on time and to the highest quality standards
- Review and understand project plans and specifications to ensure that all work is completed in accordance with these documents
- Monitor project budgets and schedule to ensure that the project is completed on time and within budget
- Collaborate with project managers to ensure that all project requirements are met
- Maintain a safe and organized work site
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Construction Science, Construction Engineering Technology, Construction Management or related field
- 5-10 years of relevant experience in K-12 school construction
- Managed crews of ten (10) or more tradesmen
- Managed all subcontractors on a single project.
- Organize site project progress meetings, compile meeting minutes and perform preconstruction meetings.
- OSHA 30 hour, First Aid/CPR
- Ability to perform layout with use of construction survey equipment is a plus.
- Understanding of plans, specifications and construction documents
- Strong work ethic, decisive, ambitious, with an unwavering commitment to quality
- High level of motivation, integrity, and commitment to team and customer
- Results-orientated with proven ability to organize, plan and prioritize work to meet deadlines
- Ability to provide leadership field personal and subcontractors
- Ability to manage owner expectations
