Purpose of Role

The Senior Professional, Merchandising Operations supports operational excellence, consistency, and execution across key Merchandising priorities and seasonal milestones. This role partners closely with the Director, Merchandising Operations and cross-functional teams to support Go-to-Market execution, merchandising processes, calendar management, system accuracy, regional communication, and clear delivery of critical merchandising outputs.

The ideal candidate is a proactive operator, clear communicator, and collaborative problem-solver who can connect teams, clarify priorities, and improve ways of working in a fast-paced, matrixed environment. This individual should bring strong merchandising, retail, product operations, or GTM experience, with the ability to manage detailed data, deadlines, and cross-functional deliverables while responsibly leveraging AI tools to optimize workflows, improve outputs, strengthen communication, and increase operational efficiency.

Your Impact
• Partner with the Director, Merchandising Operations to drive operational effectiveness, GTM process execution, and clear regional communication.
• Support development and management of the Merchandising calendar, ensuring alignment with Enterprise GTM, Regional GTM, and key Merchandising milestones.
• Coordinate cross-functional deliverables between Merchandising teams, Product, Americas GTM/Operations teams, and Global Operations teams.
• Use AI tools and emerging technologies to streamline work, enhance analysis, summarize information, improve communication quality, and increase productivity while ensuring accuracy, confidentiality, and responsible use.
• Help develop, document, and improve Merchandising processes to create consistency, clarity, and efficiency across the function.
• Own or support merchandising data accuracy, system updates, and maintenance of line plan information to ensure teams are working from accurate and reliable inputs.
• Own the sample process-ordering and management after they arrive.
• Support creation of merchandising tools, reports, and communication materials that enable the commercial sell-in process.
• Support operational development, including implementation, onboarding, and adoption of merchandising systems and tools.
• Track seasonal milestones, follow up on outstanding inputs, and proactively identify risks, gaps, or process breakdowns that may impact execution.
• Partner with key stakeholders to ensure line plans, assortment-related information, pricing, and other merchandising outputs are communicated clearly and accurately.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business administration, Retail Management, Merchandising, Operations, or a related field preferred.
• Experience in merchandising, retail, product operations, GTM operations, or a related commercial function.
• Demonstrated ability to manage projects, coordinate cross-functional teams, and deliver against multiple deadlines.
• Strong experience working with data accuracy, system updates, reporting, and implementation or onboarding of new tools and processes.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint; experience with merchandising, assortment planning, workflow, or project management systems preferred.
• Working knowledge of AI tools, AI Prompts and practical experience using them to improve productivity, summarize information, enhance communication, analyze data, or optimize recurring workflows.

Workplace Location

  • Location: This individual must reside within commuting distance from our Baltimore office.
  • Work Schedule: This role follows a hybrid work schedule, requiring 4 days in-office per week.

Base Compensation

$75,000.00-$100,000.00 USD

Most new hires fall within this range and have the opportunity to earn more over time. Initial placement within the salary range, however, is based on an individual's relevant knowledge, skills and experience for the position.
