• Manage open orders, acknowledgements, lead times, expedites, past-due lines, backorders, invoice or receipt discrepancies, and urgent breakdown purchases to protect manufacturing continuity.
• Lead integrated supplier performance reviews using service, delivery, quality, responsiveness, and transactional accuracy measures, and drive corrective actions to closure.
• Proactively develop sourcing strategies for critical suppliers, original equipment manufacturer parts, repair services, and high-risk categories using spend, demand, lead-time, criticality, quality-risk, and total-cost data.
• Lead or support competitive bids, quotation analysis, negotiations, commercial evaluations, alternate-source qualification, supplier rationalization, dual sourcing, localization, and source recommendations.
• Partner with Quality, Procurement, Engineering, and Legal, as applicable, to establish, execute, and renew supplier quality agreements, technical agreements, specifications, and commercial controls for critical suppliers.
• Partner with the Spare Parts & Asset Inventory Analyst and cross-functional teams to translate inventory strategies, repairable-unit needs, obsolescence risks, and asset priorities into executable purchasing and supplier plans.
