Job Summary

JOB DESCRIPTION:

The Senior Manager of Supply Chain (SC) Information Systems & Analytics, leads the planning, development, integration,

implementation, upgrading, and ongoing maintenance of Supply Chain Management Information Systems (SCMIS), ensuring

appropriate configurations, structures, and related processes for the optimal, efficient functioning of SCM business practices.

Direct strategic planning is needed for the development of new and expanded products and services, and to shape long term

strategy to support the individual SC business units. Define and communicate a clear, vision for the department that

effectively ties into the mission and vision of Grady Health and leads the team to achieve that vision. Provide critical

technological and operational support to all aspects of SCM. Ensure seamless operational process mapping within SCM, as

well as cross functional disciplines. Interface with all supply chain areas: Strategic Sourcing & Procurement, Value Analysis,

Operation Management and Supplier Relationship Management. Provide guidance and direction on support, development

and deployment of new or enhanced functionality.

Partner with business owners in the day-to-day delivery of support to the SC Department, Finance and IT, and be primary

liaison with Grady Health IT team and Finance team.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Maintains Pipeline of Savings opportunities to achieve annual savings goals and reports monthly.

Act as a self-motivated consultant, serve as a lead and coach, and disseminate best practice information obtained from

across Grady Health.

Implement business processes and improvement strategies by staying current on supply chain and replenishment processes and procedures; partner with cross-functional teams to implement sustainable solutions;

ensure all stakeholders execute solutions based on agreed upon timeline.

Effectively communicate expectations and vision for top tier performance, provides ongoing feedback, and conducts timely

performance management including goal setting, performance reviews, coaching, development planning and disciplining.

Implement supply chain workflow process improvement by contributing to the design, development, and delivery of new ways of working between supply chain stakeholders; prioritizing product flow plan objectives; managing the correction of errors

processes and feedback loops.

Identify areas of opportunity to improve service levels; supporting the use of end-to-end costing methodology and lean concepts;

Provide cost recommendations to reduce process waste and provide opportunities for cost reductions and process

efficiencies; and review and analyze the impact and benefits to internal processes.

EDUCATION:

Required:

Master's degree in Information Technology, Supply Chain Management, or Business Administration.

EXPERIENCE:

5-8 years of managerial experience in a healthcare environment
