Job SummaryThe Advanced Clinical Nurse Educator creates, manages and evaluates education/training programs and services, develops related goals and objectives, recommends policies, and evaluates program outcomes. All educational offerings provided by the Advanced Clinical Nurse Educator should primarily be based on the Cognitive, Humanist, and/or Brain-Based Learning Theories. The role of the Advanced Clinical Nurse Educator may include, direct patient/family care, consultation, change agent, teaching/coaching/mentoring, research, patient advocacy, performance improvement, and leadership & professional development.
Qualifications:- Master's Degree required; MSN preferred
- A minimum of four years of clinical nursing experience is required.
- Current Georgia License as a Registered Professional Nurse.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required.
- Certified NRP Instructor preferred
- NRP Certification
