Job DescriptionJob Summary:
Oversees the implementation and management of project controls across multiple projects, a single large project, or a business unit. Ensures consistent application of DPR’s planning, scheduling, cost control, and forecasting processes. Provides leadership, mentoring, and technical guidance to project teams and project controls personnel to ensure accurate, timely, and actionable project data.
Key Responsibilities:
Manages project controls processes for multiple projects, ensuring alignment with DPR standards, Project Controls Plan and owner requirements.
Leads development and review of project execution plans, forecasts, and progress reports.
Analyzes project performance data to identify trends and recommend corrective actions to project teams and leadership.
Provides oversight for cost management, schedule development, change management, and cash flow forecasting.
Mentors Project Controls Managers and Specialists, promoting capability building and knowledge sharing.
Collaborates with owners, project executives, and finance to ensure consistency in performance reporting and risk assessment.
Drives process and system improvements to enhance efficiency and data transparency.
Education Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in construction management, engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience required.
Work Experience:
12–15 years of experience in construction cost, schedule, and project controls management required.
Experience leading project controls functions on large, complex projects preferred.
Certifications and Licenses:
Project Management Professional (PMP) or equivalent preferred.
Anticipated starting pay range:
$180,000.00- $235,000.00
