Full Job Description
Standard Job Description

Take advantage of this opportunity to support a large standalone program at Lockheed Martin's legendary Skunk Works division. We are seeking a Senior Material Cost Integrator (E3) to join the Program Finance team. In this senior-level role, you will be one of the primary analysts responsible for Material Earned Value Management (MEVM) within the program. Your day-to-day duties will include:

  • Maintain the material baseline - load, validate, and update material cost data in SAP and Deltek Cobra; ensure accurate Grouping-Pegging-Distribution (GPD) alignment with program demand. Support occasional rebaseline efforts and bi-annual Comprehensive Estimate At Completion (CEAC) exercises.
  • Perform variance and EAC analyses - identify material-cost variances, trace root causes, and recommend corrective actions in coordination with the assigned Control Account Manager (CAM) and IPT Lead.
  • Data analytics & reporting - extract, manipulate, and visualize large material-cost data sets; produce routine and ad-hoc reports that support decision-making for senior leadership.
  • Supply-chain interface - work closely with supply-chain, manufacturing, and logistics partners to reconcile material receipts, issue tracking, and inventory status. Reconcile the financial aspects of material supply and demand.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams - partner with CAMs, IPT Leads, engineering, manufacturing, and supply chain management to ensure material-cost information is timely, accurate, and aligns with overall program schedule.
  • Mentor junior analysts (as needed) - provide informal guidance and share best practices with newer cost-integration staff.

The selected candidate will play a critical role in delivering accurate, actionable material-cost information that keeps the program on budget and on schedule while supporting the broader Material Earned-Value Management strategy. This is an excellent opportunity for an analyst with strong data-analytics and ERP skills to deepen expertise in material-cost accounting within a high-visibility Skunk Works program. This position is available for placement in either Palmdale, CA or Fort Worth, TX.

  • Minimum 2 years experience in roles involving material management, which can include Program Finance, Supply Chain Management (SCM), Manufacturing Engineering (ME), Manufacturing Resource Planning (MRP), Industrial Engineering (IE), or related discipline
  • Familiarity with SAP or similar Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) software
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret security clearance and adhere to classified information handling procedures

Desired Skills

  • Active DoD Secret security clearance or higher
  • Familiarity with material cost accounting concepts, including Grouping, Pegging, and Distribution (GPD)
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, advanced formulas, basic macros, charting tools)
  • Ability to manage multiple concurrent material-cost tasks, meet routine deadlines, and coordinate inputs from various functional owners
  • Clear written and verbal communication skills; comfortable presenting material-cost analysis to CAMs, IPT Leads, and senior leadership
  • Familiarity with baseline development, variance analysis, and CPI/SPI/EAC concepts; formal EVM certification not required
  • Proven ability to build trusted relationships with cross-functional partners and influence decisions without formal authority
  • Comfortable handling evolving program priorities and shifting material-supply constraints in a fast-paced environment.
