The Sr. Marketing Manager, Branch Marketing plays a key role in bringing BMO’s U.S. branch growth strategy to life. This role leads the development and execution of integrated marketing plans that support new branch openings, relocations, renovations, and market expansions, helping drive branch traffic and brand awareness in new markets. Working cross-functionally with business partners, agency partners, and external vendors, this role will shape impactful branch experiences and deliver strategic marketing initiatives that contribute to the continued growth of BMO’s retail footprint across the U.S..

Define and develop marketing campaign strategies that strengthen the BMO brand, maximize revenue, and optimize customer experience. Support the development and execution of our new financial center growth strategy by identifying market opportunities, shaping go‑to‑market plans, and managing campaigns that help support and drive new customer acquisition.  Work collaboratively with business/groups on the strategic development, execution and measurement of traditional and non-traditional customer-focused advertising, production, communication, and grassroots campaigns. Provide information and direction for media and creative development and ensure brand governance standards are always maintained. Oversee the development of advertising, promotional and communications material. Collaborate with external agency partners to deliver business objectives.

  • Ensures consistency in solutions and across marketing channels, media and platforms.
  • Works with business partners in the development and management of campaign budgets.
  • Collaborates with internal/external stakeholders to develop monitoring and tracking plans for external advertising initiatives.
  • Ensures compliance with internal frameworks, standards, guidelines and governance.
  • Acts as a trusted advisor to assigned business/group.
  • Develop solutions and recommendations based on an understanding of the business strategy and stakeholder needs.
  • Provides advice and guidance to assigned business/group on implementation of solutions.
  • Supports the execution of strategic initiatives in collaboration with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Builds effective relationships with internal/external stakeholders.
  • Monitors and tracks performance and addresses any issues.
  • Breaks down strategic problems, and analyses data and information to provide insights and recommendations.
  • Designs and produces regular and ad-hoc reports, and dashboards
  • Builds change management plans of varying scopes and type; leads or participates in a variety of change management activities including readiness assessments, planning, stakeholder management, execution, evaluation, and sustainment of initiatives.
  • Provides input into the planning and implementation of operational programs.
  • Makes recommendations to improve BMO processes and systems.
  • Executes work to deliver timely, accurate, and efficient service.

Qualifications

  • Typically, between 5 - 8 years of relevant experience and post-secondary degree in related field of study.
  • Extensive experience in project management.
  • Advertising and/or creative agency experience.
  • Experience in, and understanding of, the financial services industry.
  • Deep knowledge and technical proficiency gained through extensive education and business experience.
  • Fluency in Microsoft Office Suite (PowerPoint, Excel, Word, Teams)

Salary:


$74,000.00 - $138,000.00

Salaries will vary based on factors such as location, skills, experience, education, and qualifications for the role, and may include a commission structure. Salaries for part-time roles will be pro-rated based on number of hours regularly worked. For commission roles, the salary listed above represents BMO Financial Group’s expected target for the first year in this position.

BMO Financial Group’s total compensation package will vary based on the pay type of the position and may include performance-based incentives, discretionary bonuses, as well as other perks and rewards.
