YOUR MISSION
As a Senior Manager or Manager of Program Finance at True Anomaly, you will be the financial owner of a dedicated portfolio of space security programs and products. You will serve as the primary finance partner to your program management teams - owning the EAC process, driving cost and schedule performance, and ensuring financial rigor from program inception through execution and closeout. You will lead and develop a team of program finance analysts and play a key role in building the processes and systems that underpin True Anomaly's program controls function.
Responsibilities- Serve as the lead finance partner for a defined portfolio of IRAD and government-funded programs, owning all aspects of program financial performance from planning through execution
- Lead the quarterly EAC process for your program portfolio in accordance with ASC 606 revenue recognition principles, ensuring accuracy, realism, and consistency
- Prepare and deliver cost and schedule reporting (CPR, ADRLs, CDRLs) for external customers; interface directly with customers and government representatives as needed
- Partner cross-functionally with PMO, Supply Chain Management, Contracts, and Operations to plan, execute, and deliver against program objectives
- Lead and develop a team of program finance analysts, providing mentorship, technical guidance, and career development
- Manage the program risk and opportunity register in partnership with PMO, ensuring risks are identified, quantified, and reflected in financial forecasts
- Support the development of program financial forecasts for executive leadership, and the Board of Directors
- Contribute to the development and continuous improvement of program finance policies, processes, and tools across the function
- Support compliance and partner with our Corporate Controller, Director of Finance, and PMO to ensure readiness for customer and government surveillance audits (DCMA, GAO)
- Manage financial oversight of IRAD programs within your portfolio, including budget tracking, cost analysis, reporting, and ensuring alignment between internal investment spend and forward business development objectives
- Support pricing and proposal efforts for new business and contract modifications within your program portfolio
Qualifications6-12 years of finance experience in aerospace or defense with demonstrated ownership of complex programs and people leadership experience
- Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or a related field
- Strong understanding of GAAP (especially ASC 606 revenue recognition), FAR/DFARS, and cost accounting fundamentals
- Hands-on experience with EAC methodology and EVMS on government programs
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail; proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Power Query and Power Pivot
- Ability to communicate clearly across program teams, functional leadership, and external customers
- Experience leading or mentoring analysts preferred; team-building experience a plus for Senior Manager candidates
Compensation- Base Salary: $135,000 - $205,000

Additional Requirements- Work Location - We observe an in-person work environment, and expect 4 days per week in office at the Company's Denver, CO headquarters or at our facility in Long Beach, California
- Security Clearance - Current Secret clearance required; TS/SCI preferred
