The GISP Governance organization brings together Security & Privacy Governance, Privacy Assurance, and Client Assurance functions into a unified trust and assurance model. The organization is responsible for establishing and maintaining foundational governance, security, privacy, awareness, and assurance capabilities that support both internal governance objectives and external client trust activities.
GISP Assurance primarily operates as a governance and assurance function focused on establishing standards, enabling consistency, supporting transparency, and operationalizing trust across the organization. In selected areas, particularly within Privacy Governance, the organization also performs operational assurance and coordination activities necessary to support evolving regulatory, client, and business requirements.
Your Impact:As a Manager of Security Governance, Sales Enablement, and Privacy, you will provide dedicated leadership and operational ownership across critical functions that drive revenue enablement, strengthen regulatory posture, and support organizational stability. You will lead the Security & Privacy Sales Enablement function, enabling scalable, consistent engagement with Sales, clients, and cross-functional partners including Legal, Privacy, Product Security, and Cloud Operations. This role ensures effective support for client assurance activities, helping accelerate sales cycles while maintaining alignment with established security, privacy, and governance standards.
You will oversee intake, triage, prioritization, and delivery coordination for client-facing security and privacy requests, ensuring timely, accurate, and risk-aligned responses across contractual, regulatory, and assurance-related inquiries. Acting as a central coordination point between Sales and internal stakeholders, you will balance client expectations with business objectives and operational scalability. Additionally, you will partner closely with Privacy and Governance teams to support global privacy requirements, including client inquiries, DPA coordination, and alignment with privacy frameworks, driving consistency, efficiency, and standardized engagement practices across the organization.
What the role offers:As a Sr Manager, Privacy & Compliance, you will:- Lead Security & Privacy Sales Enablement team operations, including intake, triage, prioritization, and workload distribution
- Establish and enforce response quality standards and operational delivery expectations across engagements
- Coach and develop team members supporting client-facing security, privacy, and assurance activities
- Manage escalations for complex, high-risk, or strategic client requests and high-volume delivery periods
- Partner with Sales, Account Teams, Client Success, and Solution Development throughout the sales lifecycle
- Oversee client assurance deliverables (security questionnaires, due diligence) and coordinate SMEs for discussions
- Support contractual security and privacy alignment, including DPA reviews and coordination with Legal, Privacy, Product Security, and Cloud Operations
- Apply standard contractual language, assess obligations, and escalate non-standard risk or regulatory commitments
- Align client assurance responses with regulatory frameworks (DORA, NIS/NIS2, CRA, AI governance) and certifications (ISO, SOC)
- Own intake workflows, queue governance, and service operations while driving efficiency through reusable content and performance metrics
What you need to Succeed:- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience; M.B.A. or M.S. in information security is a plus
- 10+ years of IT experience, including 7+ years in information security and 5+ years in a supervisory capacity
- Strong leadership skills with ability to partner effectively with business managers and key stakeholders
- Proven ability to build relationships across all levels and align with business imperatives
- Knowledge of standards: ISO 27001, PCI-DSS, SOC1/2/3, HIPAA, SOC2+HITRUST, SOX, FedRAMP
- Strong analytical and project management skills (planning, scheduling, resource management) with ability to manage competing priorities
- Ability to lead and motivate cross-functional teams while influencing stakeholders with strong communication skills
- Experience developing policies, procedures, and standards; familiarity with ISO 2700x, ITIL, COBIT, and flexibility across InfoSec functions
Role-specific certifications are a plus:- Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP)
- Certified Information Security Manager (CISM)
