Full Job Description
Responsibilities
  • Oversee day-to-day operations to ensure safe, efficient, and cost-effective transportation and logistics performance
  • Lead, coach, and develop supervisory and hourly teams to achieve operational goals and maintain high standards of performance
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, customer requirements, DOT regulations, and safety standards
  • Manage labor planning, scheduling, and resource allocation to meet service commitments
  • Monitor key performance indicators, including productivity, service levels, and cost controls, and implement corrective actions as needed
  • Collaborate with customers and internal stakeholders to address operational issues and support continuous improvement initiatives
  • Develop and execute process improvements to increase efficiency, accuracy, and service quality
  • Prepare operational reports, analyze data trends, and communicate results to senior leadership
  • Support onboarding, training, and performance management for team members


Qualifications
  • Previous experience in logistics, transportation, or operations management, preferably in a dedicated, asset-based, or asset-light environment
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage and develop teams in a fast-paced environment
