The Sr Manager, Global Quality Systems is a global enterprise leader responsible for shaping, standardizing, and continuously improving Lubrizol's Quality Management System (QMS). This role drives the strategic vision for a unified One Lubrizol QMS, ensuring risk-based management, compliance with global standards, operational excellence, and fulfillment of customer-specific requirements-including OEM expectations.
This role leads regional QMS leaders globally, supports all Lubrizol manufacturing sites across LZA and LZAM, and directly influences enterprise quality strategy, policy, and performance.
In this role, you will:
- Set global QMS strategy, define One Lubrizol QMS vision, and deploy global standardization goals.
- Harmonize LZA and LZAM quality standards including ISO 9001, IATF 16949, EFfCI, IPEC GMP/Excipact, Kosher, and Halal requirements.
- Lead global Regional QMS Managers; ensure consistent QMS maturity development across all manufacturing sites.
- Oversee global audit readiness: customer audits, internal audits, and recertification audits; lead audit response strategy.
- Manage QMS documentation systems, SAP Q Module, Incident Management, non-conformance processes, and IATF documentation such as PPAP and PSW.
Required Qualifications that Enable Your Success- Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Engineering (Chemical/Mechanical), Operations Management, or related technical field.
- Minimum 10 years QMS leadership experience in the chemical industry or technically equivalent environment.
- Minimum 5 years leading international teams.
- Global QMS auditing experience and ability to travel internationally.
- Expertise with ISO 9001, IATF 16949, EFfCI, IPEC GMP/Excipact, Kosher, and Halal standards.
- Experience serving as QMS internal auditor.
- Strong communication, presentation, and stakeholder-management skills at all organizational levels.
- Proven ability to lead complex customer audits and interactions.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
- Working knowledge of SAP Quality and Incident Management modules.
- Fluency in English
- Strategic mindset with global orientation; collaborative and influential leadership style.
Preferred Qualifications that Drive you Forward - Familiarity with CRM and global customer support ERP platforms.
