We are looking for a Vice President of Construction Operations to play join our team as we continue to scale the business. In this position you will be responsible for the success of the all construction operations, fleet and inventory operations, and renovation coordination. The Role: This position includes, but is not limited to, the following responsibilities:
3 Responsible for all workflows, process and construction operations
3 Drive down construction timelines by process improvements
3 Regularly meet with Department heads to review RFP within each market
3 Weekly communication with vendors and Construction PMs to stay current on workflow and issues
3 Ensure the timely and accurate input of all information e.g., budgets, completion dates, etc. into relevant systems
3 Coordinate with Inventory Supervisor to ensure field staff is appropriately stocked and inventory is tracked
3 Coordinate risk management efforts by implementing a Quality Control program around product usage
3 Track activity and KPIs to provide quality control support for vendor relationships
3 Ongoing monitoring of vendor compliance
3 Onboard communities and implement recurring services contracts as needed
3 Regularly work with the B2R team and builders to schedule builder inspections and punch walks
3 Other renovation or vendor-related activities determined by your manager
Qualifications and Experience
3 Min 5 years of work experience with 3+ in a related position, preferably with vendor management
3 Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Excel, and Word; as well as with prospect and resident management systems is required
3 Motivated self-starter
3 Demonstrated ability to perform effectively in a fast-paced and demanding environment
3 Flexible and able to effectively manage ambiguity and change
3 Excellent written and verbal communication skills
