Sr Lead Programmer/Analyst

Job Title: Sr Lead Programmer/Analyst

Essential Job Functions
• Design systems to meet end user information needs from multiple application and database environments.
• Create & automate reports, iteratively build & prototype dashboards to provide insights at scale, solving for business priorities.
• Ensure data consistency and reuse by establishing and enforcing company-wide data standards.
• Ensure essential procedures are followed and help define operating standards and processes.
• Serve as advisor or coach to new or lower-level analysts.
• Has the ability to operate with a limited level of direct supervision.
• Can exercise independence of judgement and autonomy.
• Acts as SME to senior stakeholders and /or other team members. Interface with software vendors to obtain information and support for problems, coordinate systems repair as required.
• Research technical innovations and assist in planning for the future direction of the Company and department.
• Experience in a software development position including all aspects of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC); including requirements definition, technical designs, coding, testing and implementation.
• Experience articulating business questions and scripting to pull data from datasets, and adapt quantitative techniques to solve complex problems.
• Monitor and troubleshoot data flow issues, ensuring timely resolution. Optimize data flow processes to enhance efficiency and reliability.
• Analyze and map inbound data flows across multiple systems and tools to ensure the integrity and connectivity of the data.
• Strong background with Oracle database technology using SQL, and PL/SQL.
• Work with functional departments to continuously improve systems by identifying opportunities for improved functionality by redesigning system solutions and re-engineer business processes as needed to include fixing of bugs/issues.
• Support and help train staff in functionality and technical tools to support the company's suite of products.
• Perform project management duties as required to complete assigned projects
• Perform other related duties as required.

Education and Experience

Requires a Bachelors' Degree in Computer Science, a minimum of five years computer programming experience in a manufacturing environment, and two years Infor ERP LN computer system experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Comprehensive knowledge of computer technology and computer languages, Infor ERP LN elements such as manufacturing, inventory control, distribution and finance systems, Infor ERP LN Tools skills in system design and development, and project management skills are required to perform the duties of this position.

Physical Demands
• Demonstrates physical and functional ability to perform and accomplish tasks. Ability to lift and carry up to 35 lbs.
