Job Summary

The Technology Network Supervisor will lead and supervise a team of information technology professionals while overseeing the design, operation, security, and reliability of Operational Technology (OT) network environments. This role requires deep technical expertise combined with strong leadership and operational management skills.

The Technology Network Supervisor will ensure high availability and performance of Operational Technology (OT) networks, support business-critical systems, and drive continuous improvement in network operations, security, and compliance. Experience within utility or industrial environments is highly desirable, as the role may involve supporting mission-critical infrastructure and regulated systems This position works closely with IT leadership, cybersecurity teams, operations, vendors, and other stakeholders to align network strategies with organizational objectives

Job Responsibilities

  • Provide technical leadership, mentoring, and performance management for team members, while collaborating with cross-functional stakeholders to align network services with business and operational objectives.
  • Lead and supervise a team of network professionals responsible for the design, operation, and support of OT network environments.
  • Oversee day-to-day network operations to ensure high availability, performance, and reliability across Operational Technology (OT) networks.
  • Manage and coordinate network-related projects, including upgrades, expansions, and technology refresh initiatives, ensuring delivery on time and within scope.
  • Proactively identify, assess, and remediate network security vulnerabilities while ensuring audits and compliance with organizational policies, industry standards, and regulatory requirements.
  • Maintain accurate network asset inventories and oversee lifecycle planning, including capacity planning, vendor management, and end-of-life strategies for network infrastructure.
  • Work and communicate with a wide range of people including peers, vendors, staff members, broader functional and appropriate business leadership, and others. Consistently demonstrate professional, positive, and approachable attitude/demeanor and discretion.


Job Specific Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related technical field with a minimum of 8 years of experience in enterprise network environments
  • A minimum of 3 years of supervisory experience in network technologies
  • In-depth knowledge of Network infrastructure technologies.
  • Strong background in enterprise networking, including network security, LAN, WAN, Wireless
  • Familiarity with OT networking standards and architectures like SCADA/DSCADA environments
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and consultative skills, and the ability to work effectively with clients, leadership and employees at all levels.
  • Strong understanding of ITSM (ITIL)and overall understanding of Infrastructure components.
  • Demonstrated experience in vendor management in the day-to-day activities related to supporting critical systems.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Strong skills in project and problem management.
  • Understanding of general IT standards, policies, best practices, guidelines, processes.
  • Department of Energy's regulation 10 CFR 810 is required
