Sr. Implementation Engineer (MANTL)

The Sr Implementation Engineer serves as a fully qualified technical implementation professional responsible for leading complex client implementations, resolving advanced technical issues, and driving successful delivery of Alkami Digital Banking products and third-party integrations. This role applies deep product and implementation expertise to analyze diverse technical challenges, adapt implementation approaches, and support high-impact client onboarding and enhancement initiatives. The position collaborates closely with project managers, engineering, product teams, vendors, and customer stakeholders to ensure technical solutions align with business objectives and operational requirements. The Sr Implementation Engineer operates independently on complex assignments, provides guidance to less experienced team members, and contributes to continuous improvement initiatives that enhance implementation quality, scalability, and client experience. Essential Duties & Responsibilities 64b Lead complex implementation projects by independently configuring, customizing, and validating Alkami Digital Banking products and third-party integrations across diverse client environments 64b Analyze and resolve advanced technical implementation issues by performing root-cause analysis, evaluating system behaviors, and adapting implementation approaches to meet client and operational requirements 64b Serve as the primary technical resource for assigned implementation engagements by providing guidance, recommendations, and technical leadership throughout the project lifecycle 64b Collaborate with project managers, engineering teams, vendors, and customer stakeholders by coordinating technical deliverables, communicating implementation risks, and ensuring alignment on project objectives 64b Design and execute implementation validation activities by developing testing strategies, troubleshooting integration behaviors, and confirming successful platform functionality prior to production deployment 64b Support complex third-party integrations by evaluating technical dependencies, resolving interface issues, and coordinating implementation activities with external vendors and internal stakeholders 64b Apply advanced product and platform knowledge by recommending implementation solutions that align with client needs, operational best practices, and platform capabilities 64b Develop and maintain detailed implementation documentation by creating configuration records, troubleshooting procedures, technical runbooks, and knowledge-sharing materials for operational continuity 64b Identify implementation process inefficiencies by analyzing recurring technical challenges and recommending improvements to workflows, tooling, or support methodologies 64b Provide mentorship and technical guidance to less experienced implementation engineers by supporting troubleshooting efforts, sharing implementation best practices, and reviewing technical work products 64b Facilitate technical discussions with clients and internal stakeholders by translating complex technical concepts into clear implementation guidance and actionable recommendations 64b Manage multiple complex implementation priorities by balancing project timelines, issue resolution activities, and stakeholder communication across concurrent engagements 64b Support post-go-live stabilization activities by proactively monitoring implementation outcomes, resolving escalated issues, and ensuring successful client adoption of platform functionality 64b Contribute to cross-functional improvement initiatives by partnering with product and engineering teams to communicate implementation feedback, identify platform enhancement opportunities, and support operational scalability 64b Adapt implementation methodologies to address unique client environments, technical constraints, and evolving business requirements while maintaining implementation quality and delivery standards Recommended Experience & Education Minimum Years of Experience 3 636 years of experience leading software implementations, technical consulting engagements, systems integrations, or complex client onboarding initiatives within SaaS, fintech, banking technology, or related technical environments. Education Level Bachelor 27s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Technology, or a related field. Knowledge, Skills, & Qualifications Required 64b Advanced experience configuring and implementing SaaS platforms or digital banking solutions 64b Proficiency with programming languages such as C#, Java, Python, or JavaScript 64b Experience with relational databases (MSSQL, Oracle, MySQL, Postgres) 64b Strong troubleshooting and root-cause analysis skills across integrations, configurations, and platform functionality 64b Ability to independently manage complex technical implementation projects and priorities 64b Experience collaborating with cross-functional technical and business stakeholders 64b Strong understanding of APIs, system integrations, and technical implementation methodologies 64b Ability to communicate complex technical concepts to technical and non-technical audiences 64b Experience developing technical documentation, implementation procedures, and operational best practices 64b Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills in fast-paced client environments Preferred 64b Experience supporting fintech, digital banking, or financial services technology implementations 64b Knowledge of scripting or technical automation concepts 64b Experience working with third-party vendors and external integration partners 64b Familiarity with agile delivery methodologies and software development lifecycle processes 64b Experience mentoring or guiding junior technical team members 64b Experience contributing to process improvement or implementation scalability initiatives The salary range for this position is: $96,000 - $120,000 Cool Things to Know Not Just Any Company: Alkami has an awesome diverse and inclusive environment.
