Job Description:About the Role:We are seeking a Sr Financial Analyst, Capital Assets to join our Finance team based in Oak Brook, IL. The Sr Financial Analyst, Capital Assets, serves as a key finance partner to the Supply Chain Capital Asset and Operations teams. This role provides analytical leadership for capital planning, forecasting, reporting, and project oversight while managing multiple priorities and supporting investment decisions across the organization. This role leads day-to-day capital reporting and policy compliance, evaluates financial results to identify risks and opportunities, and develops actionable recommendations for business leaders. The Sr Financial Analyst drives process improvements, strengthens reporting consistency and data integrity, and collaborates cross-functionally to enhance capital governance, tools, and decision support.
You'll add value to this role by performing various functions including, but not limited to:- Lead day-to-day capital asset planning, forecasting, reporting, and governance activities, ensuring timely, accurate, and consistent financial information.
- Serve as a subject matter expert on Capital Management Policy compliance and provide guidance to Supply Chain Finance, Operations, Engineering, and Financial Shared Services partners.
- Viewed as a Subject Matter Expert in Capital Management Policy compliance
- Partner with Engineering and Operations leaders to support project planning, business cases, capital prioritization, and financial decision-making.
- Lead Annual Operating Plan for capital planning and modeling, including consolidation, validation, scenario analysis, and communication of key assumptions and outcomes.
- Monitor capital project performance against approved budgets and forecasts, identify variances and emerging risks, and provide clear recommendations to business leaders.
- Lead process improvement initiatives that strengthen capital controls, report effectiveness, data quality, and workflow efficiency across Finance and Shared Services.
- Develop and enhance reporting tools, dashboards, and task-tracking metrics that provide visibility into capital spending, project status, and performance trends.
- Manage multiple confidential and strategic projects simultaneously, coordinating with cross-functional stakeholders to ensure financial requirements and deadlines are met.
- Provide coaching, training, and technical guidance to less experienced team members and business partners on capital processes, reporting, and analytical practices.
Important Details:- This is a full-time, first-shift hybrid position located at our Oak Brook, IL office.
- The anticipated compensation for this position ranges from $78,700.00 - 118,100.00 USD annually. This is the lowest to highest salary we in good faith believe we would pay for this role at the time of this posting. An employee's position within the salary range will be based on several factors including, but not limited to, specific competencies, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, geographic location, performance, shift, travel requirements, sales or revenue-based metrics and business or organizational needs. For certain roles, the successful candidate may be eligible for annual discretionary merit compensation award, bonus and equity pay.

You'll fit right in if you have:- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field is required.
- 3-7 years of progressive experience in financial analysis, accounting, FP&A, or a related finance role, preferably within a CPG or manufacturing environment.
- Advanced financial modeling, analytical, and problem-solving skills with the ability to evaluate complex information and develop actionable recommendations.
- Demonstrated knowledge of capital planning, forecasting, project financial analysis, and financial controls; experience supporting capital-intensive operations is preferred.
- Ability to communicate complex financial information clearly and concisely to finance and non-finance audiences, including business leaders.
- Proven ability to build strong working relationships and collaborate effectively across functions and organizational levels.
- Strong organizational and prioritization skills with the ability to manage multiple projects, meet deadlines, and deliver accurate, detailed results in a fast-paced environment.
- High degree of integrity, discretion, and professionalism with the ability to handle confidential information.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
- Experience with financial, planning, or ERP systems is preferred.
