As part of the talented Finance team, you will be providing support to the Mercury US Engines and MerCruiser business units. Responsible for month end closing, forecasting, sales program administration, and variance analysis of US Engines business units. Plans and supports broad assignments with responsibility for developing and improving analysis of various business requirements and the budgetary process. This position will be on-site in Fond du Lac, WI with a hybrid workplace and will report to the US Engines Finance Manager.
Essential Functions:
- Prepare monthly journal entries and account reconciliations for US Engines and MerCruiser business unit
- Prepares monthly, quarterly, and annual business unit reports for MerCruiser business unit
- Review and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial performance to explain variances and determine key drivers impacting performance
- Coordinate the preparation of the annual budget for MerCruiser and US Engines operating cost centers
- Provide finance and business support for R&D, Sales, Marketing, and Category organizations
- Participate in MerCruiser new product teams as the finance lead. Prepare business cases, sensitivity analyses, and recommendations to drive program success
- Responsible for the financial statement conformance meets Brunswick internal control requirements
- Provide ad hoc analysis and lead special projects as requests are made and assigned
Required Qualifications:- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or related field is required.
- 3 or more years of experience in financial analysis and planning is required.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong Problem-solving, analytical skills and the ability to balance multiple projects simultaneously.
- Experience working in a team environment with various functions of the organization.
The anticipated pay range for this position is 73,600 - 106,200 annually. The actual base pay offered will vary depending on multiple factors including job-related knowledge/skills, relevant experience, business needs, and geographic location. In addition to base pay, this position is eligible for an annual discretionary bonus.
