Full Job Description
Location: Menlo Park, CA

Position Summary:

Hexagon is seeking a motivated and analytical Clinical Scientist to join our team. This role will focus on providing clinical scientific expertise and data analysis for our lead ADC programs. Reporting to the Head of Clinical/CMO, the Clinical Scientist will support clinical trial design, contribute to study-related documentation development and execution, and perform detailed medical and scientific data reviews on clinical data for internal and safety review committee reviews. This individual will work cross-functionally to support the execution of clinical trials and the translation of platform discoveries into clinical proof-of-concept.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Contribute to the development of clinical study protocols, investigator brochures, informed consents, and other key study documents.
  • Perform clinical data review and analysis to support study-level decision-making and safety monitoring.
  • Support the preparation of clinical sections for regulatory submissions, including INDs and clinical study reports.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Translational Research, Clinical Operations, and Biometrics to ensure scientific alignment across programs.
  • Assist in the medical monitoring process and clinical trial execution in accordance with GCP/ICH guidelines.

Experience and Qualifications:
  • PhD, PharmD or equivalent advanced degree in a relevant scientific field is desirable (e.g., Biology, Pharmacology, Immunology, or related discipline).
  • 7+ years of industry experience in clinical development overseeing clinical study execution, with a focus on oncology.
  • Proven ability to analyze and interpret complex clinical data to drive scientific insights.
  • Solid understanding of clinical trial design, GCP/ICH guidelines, and regulatory documentation requirements.
  • Strong communication and collaborative skills, with the ability to work effectively in a cross-functional team environment.
  • Experience in fast-paced, high-growth biotechnology environments.

Additional Information:

The salary range is dependent on the level of Scientist that is hired. The salary range for this position is $250,000 - $325,000. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position across California locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
