Full Job Description
The Senior Director of Product Marketing will lead the product marketing strategy for Madhive's advertising technology platform and solutions. This role sits at the intersection of Product, Engineering, Sales, Client Success, and Marketing and is responsible for translating complex technical capabilities into clear market positioning, differentiated product narratives, and scalable go-to-market strategies.

This leader will own product marketing across the portfolio, including positioning, messaging, market intelligence, product launches, sales enablement, and product adoption. They will serve as a strategic advisor to senior leadership and help shape product priorities by bringing a strong understanding of the market, customers, competitors, and evolving adtech ecosystem.

The Senior Director will build and lead the product marketing function, establish the frameworks and operating rhythms required to support a growing product portfolio, and ensure Madhive's commercial teams can confidently articulate the value of our technology.

What You'll Do:

Product Marketing Strategy and Leadership
  • Define and lead the product marketing strategy across Madhive's programmatic advertising platform, products, and solutions.
  • Establish the product marketing vision, priorities, operating model, and success measures in alignment with company and commercial goals.
  • Advise senior leadership on product positioning, market opportunities, customer needs, competitive threats, and go-to-market priorities.
  • Build scalable product marketing processes and frameworks that support multiple products, audiences, and stages of the product lifecycle.
  • Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing team of product marketing professionals.


Technical Positioning and Messaging
  • Develop differentiated positioning, messaging, and value propositions for complex adtech products and technical capabilities.
  • Translate product architecture, data capabilities, integrations, automation, measurement, and workflow functionality into clear customer and market value.
  • Partner closely with Product and Engineering to develop a deep understanding of product capabilities, technical dependencies, use cases, and roadmap priorities.
  • Create messaging frameworks that can be consistently applied across sales materials, product launches, customer communications, campaigns, and executive presentations.
  • Ensure product narratives are technically accurate, commercially compelling, and tailored to different audiences, including brands, agencies, broadcasters, publishers, and internal teams.


Go-to-Market and Product Launches
  • Own the end-to-end go-to-market strategy for new products, features, integrations, and major platform enhancements.
  • Determine target audiences, use cases, competitive differentiation, launch strategy, enablement needs, adoption goals, and success metrics.
  • Lead cross-functional launch planning across Product, Engineering, Sales, Client Success, Marketing, and Revenue Operations.
  • Establish launch readiness standards and ensure teams are prepared to position, sell, support, and measure new capabilities.
  • Evaluate launch and adoption results and use insights to refine messaging, enablement, and future go-to-market plans.

Market and competitive Intelligence
  • Develop a comprehensive understanding of the adtech landscape, including programmatic buying, demand-side platforms, data and identity, measurement, supply paths, optimization, and emerging technologies.
  • Lead ongoing market, customer, and competitive research to identify trends, whitespace opportunities, and risks.
  • Create competitive intelligence, battlecards, market assessments, and executive-level recommendations.
  • Lead voice of customer and bring these customer and market insights into product planning and prioritization discussions.
  • Partner with customer-facing teams to identify recurring needs, objections, adoption barriers, and opportunities for product differentiation.

Sales Enablement and Commercial Impact
  • Develop the product narratives, tools, and training required for Sales and Client Success teams to communicate Madhive's value effectively.
  • Create high-impact enablement materials, including pitch decks, solution briefs, product demonstrations, technical overviews, competitive guides, case studies, and objection-handling resources.
  • Lead product and solution training for commercial teams and ensure enablement remains current as the platform evolves.
  • Partner with Sales leadership on strategic opportunities, executive-level presentations, requests for proposals, and complex customer conversations.
  • Measure the effectiveness of product marketing programs through adoption, pipeline influence, win rates, sales readiness, product usage, and customer feedback.


Who You Are:
  • 10+ years of experience in product marketing, product strategy, solutions marketing, or a related field, including significant experience in adtech, martech, digital media, or enterprise software.
  • Deep technical understanding of programmatic advertising, advertising platforms, data-driven media buying, measurement, and the broader adtech ecosystem.
  • Demonstrated experience leading product marketing for a complex platform or portfolio of technical products.
  • Proven ability to translate highly technical concepts into clear, differentiated, and commercially compelling narratives.
  • Experience owning large-scale go-to-market strategies and cross-functional product launches.
  • Strong understanding of product development processes and experience partnering closely with Product and Engineering leaders.
  • Experience influencing product strategy through market, competitive, customer, and commercial insights.
  • Strong executive presence and the ability to advise, influence, and communicate with senior leaders.
  • Experience building, leading, and developing product marketing teams.
  • Excellent written, verbal, presentation, and storytelling skills.
  • Strong analytical skills and experience using data to evaluate market opportunities, product adoption, and go-to-market performance.
  • Ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced, evolving environment with a high degree of ownership and accountability.


The approximate compensation range for this position is $142,200-$185,000 The actual offer, reflecting the total compensation package and benefits, will be determined by a number of factors including the applicant's experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity among our team.
