Full Job Description
The Senior Director of Development for the Mewbourne College of Earth and Energy reports to the Executive Director of Advancement and serves as a key member of the college's advancement team. The Senior Director manages a portfolio of major gift prospects and donors capable of making commitments of $25,000 and above, developing and executing fundraising strategies that advance the college's priorities in energy, geosciences, sustainability, workforce development, research, and student success. Working in partnership with college leadership, faculty, alumni, industry partners, and colleagues across the OU Foundation, the Senior Director connects donor interests with opportunities that strengthen the college's impact on Oklahoma, the nation, and the global energy landscape. Position requires occasional evenings and weekends, as well as domestic travel. Bachelor's degree and eight (8) or more years of progressive experience in fundraising, sales and/or gift-planning-related roles required. Certified Fund Raising Executive (CFRE) certification preferred.
