Description Senior Director, Go-To-Market (GTM) Strategy, Patient ServicesAbout the RoleSyneos Health is seeking a Senior Director, Go-To-Market (GTM) Strategy, Patient Services to serve as a strategic leader connecting Business Development, Operations, and Marketing. In this highly visible role, you will help shape commercial strategy, translate operational capabilities into compelling customer solutions, and drive growth across the Patient Services organization. You will partner with senior leaders, support key customer engagements, and influence go-to-market strategies that strengthen our position in a rapidly evolving healthcare and life sciences market.
What You'll DoBusiness Development & Customer Engagement- Partner with Business Development leaders to identify, qualify, and prioritize strategic opportunities.
- Support account planning and growth strategies across key customer accounts.
- Participate in customer meetings, RFI/RFP responses, and bid defense activities.
- Guide the positioning of Patient Services solutions for prospective and existing customers.
- Develop messaging, tools, and training that increase commercial team knowledge and effectiveness.
Strategic Market Leadership- Monitor market trends, customer needs, and competitive activity.
- Recommend enhancements to service offerings and go-to-market approaches.
- Provide strategic insights that influence investment and growth strategies.
- Help develop differentiated solutions and capability messaging.
Cross-Functional Partnership- Collaborate with Operations, Marketing, and Subject Matter Experts to ensure consistent customer-facing messaging.
- Support development of sales enablement materials, playbooks, and customer collateral.
- Drive alignment across commercial and operational teams.
- Contribute to enterprise initiatives focused on growth and innovation.
Leadership & Influence- Serve as a trusted advisor to senior leadership.
- Lead or influence high-impact strategic initiatives.
- Represent the Patient Services function in commercial planning and pipeline discussions.
- Foster collaboration across a matrixed organization.
Required Qualifications- Bachelor's degree in Business, Life Sciences, Healthcare, or a related field.
- 15+ years of experience in one or more of the following areas:
- Business Development
- Commercial Strategy
- Solutions Consulting
- Clinical Operations
- Healthcare or Life Sciences Services
- Demonstrated experience supporting customer pursuits, including RFI/RFP responses and bid defense activities.
- Strong understanding of healthcare, CRO, clinical research, patient services, or related service delivery models.
- Proven ability to influence stakeholders and drive alignment across a matrix organization.
- Excellent written, verbal, and presentation communication skills.
- Experience translating operational capabilities into customer-facing value propositions.
- Ability to travel as needed for customer and internal meetings.
Preferred Qualifications- Advanced degree (MBA, MS, MPH, PharmD, or equivalent).
- Experience within Patient Services or related evidence generation services.
- Experience developing go-to-market strategies, commercial playbooks, and sales enablement programs.
- Experience partnering with Marketing teams on positioning, messaging, and campaign development.
- Familiarity with CRM platforms and pipeline management tools.
- Experience influencing executive leadership and contributing to enterprise-level strategic initiatives.

The annual base salary for this position is $190,000 - $220,000. Actual salary will vary based on various factors such as the candidate's qualifications, skills, competencies, and proficiency for the role. In addition, some positions may include eligibility to earn bonus based on company and/or individual performance.
