Job SummarySpinCo is seeking a
Sr. Director Finance whowill be responsible for coordinating financial activities for a group of global account managers in a
business unit, managing the financial status of customer accounts, and managing the financial planning, forecasting, and analysis of the group. Reporting to the VP of Finance, this role is part of our new spin-off Company and an exciting opportunity to be a part of this new global company.
The role is based from our Austin, TX headquarters.
Here is a glimpse of what you'll do:- Partner with the global account team to drive achievement of financial results
- Effectively communicate with leadership to provide a transparent perspective on financial performance while providing solutions as needed
- Coach and mentor global account manager on financial topics
- Drive strategies to enhance value of customer accounts through new business models and customer negotiations
- Meet with customers to discuss and negotiate financial aspects of business arrangements, credit issues, and other topics as needed.
- Manage the preparation of quarterly financial reporting package for leadership review.
- Manage risk in customer accounts through handling of credit and exposure.
- Ensure monthly informative account analysis is performed.
- Be abreast of industry trends and apply them to the business model as appropriate.
Here's what we're looking to add to our team:- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field or equivalent experience and training.
- A background supporting manufacturing or global procurement and supply chain organizations preferred.
- Masters Business Administration is preferred.
- 12+ years of related experience, including Finance management experience.
