Full Job Description
The Sr. Customer Account Manager (Sr. CAM) owns expansion revenue within a defined territory of existing Prophix customers. Your mandate is to grow the Prophix One™ footprint: new modules, more users, cloud migrations, and deeper executive relationships. You'll carry a quota, work with mid-market and enterprise finance teams, and have access to CSM, Solution Engineering, and Professional Services support on every major opportunity. This is a hunter-farmer hybrid, not a renewals role. If you have a track record of closing expansion deals (adding modules, growing ARR, turning a $150K account into a $400K account) we want to talk. What You Will Do Drive Expansion Revenue • Own and grow a portfolio of existing Prophix accounts, your primary KPI is net-new expansion ARR • Identify whitespace within accounts: additional Prophix One™ modules, user license expansion, and cloud migration opportunities • Run full sales cycles from discovery to close, coordinating with Professional Services, Cloud, Legal, and Customer Success teams • Build and maintain ≥2.2× pipeline coverage across your territory; hit ≥90% forecast accuracy by week 5 of each quarter • Escalate strategic opportunities and manage at-risk accounts proactively Build and Own Executive Relationships • Establish high-trust relationships with CFOs, Controllers, VPs of Finance, and CIOs, not just FP&A managers • Lead executive business reviews that connect Prophix capabilities to the customer's financial transformation priorities • Re-engage disengaged or at-risk executive sponsors and reposition Prophix as a strategic platform, not just a budgeting tool Operate with Commercial Discipline • Maintain accurate pipeline, forecasting, and opportunity data in Salesforce • Partner with Customer Success Managers and Marketing on customer enablement and nurture programs • Use Prophix's AI-enabled tools and your own AI workflow (research, drafting, prep) to work with greater speed and precision Requirements What You Will Bring If this role excites you but you don't meet every requirement, we still encourage you to apply. At Prophix, curiosity, adaptability, and diverse perspectives matter. Your experience may be exactly what we need. Required Qualifications • 3-5+ years of quota-carrying software sales or customer expansion sales experience, with a track record of hitting target • Experience in CPM, FP&A, financial planning software, or adjacent FinTech SaaS; you understand how finance teams budget, forecast, and close • Proven ability to manage complex, multi-stakeholder B2B sales cycles from discovery through legal and close • Executive presence: you can run a strategic conversation with a CFO or Controller and be taken seriously • CRM fluency, ideally Salesforce, for active pipeline management, forecasting, and opportunity hygiene • Deep understanding of both on-premise and SaaS/cloud software delivery models; comfortable running cloud migration conversations • Comfort using AI tools responsibly to support tasks such as research, account prep, drafting, or data review • Ability to learn new tools and adapt as technology evolves • Curiosity and openness to exploring new approaches • Collaborative mindset when working with teams and technology Preferred Qualifications • Direct sales experience at a CPM or FP&A software company or comparable financial performance platform • Working knowledge of financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, consolidation, or close management workflows • Experience with Account Reconciliation or Financial Consolidation use cases • Outstanding negotiation skills and a track record of protecting deal value under procurement pressure • Familiarity with financial close, audit readiness, or multi-entity consolidation challenges What Success Looks Like • 30 days: You understand our tools, product, and people at a high level • Within 90 days: You work independently on meaningful tasks, you've reached out to your customers in your territory, you've developed pipeline and have closed a few opportunities • Within 6 months: You have a full understanding of the role and responsibilities. You are contributing significantly to pipeline generation and closed opportunities, and are on track to target. Benefits What's Included for You? • Comprehensive health, dental, vision, and mental-health coverage • Retirement savings with employer contributions • Parental leave top-up • Annual wellness allowance • Generous paid time off including vacation and sick time • Social events, team activities, and opportunities to build community • Opportunities to participate in Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) initiatives • Quarterly Town Halls and Kickoffs that bring teams together to celebrate wins, share updates, and look ahead at what's next Apply Now! If this feels like the right environment for you, we'd love to meet you and help you build your career as a Phixer!
