Qualifications

• 10+ years of estimating experience, particularly in manufacturing and defense products is preferred.
• Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, Mathematics, or related field is advantageous.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel; experience with ERP systems and AI queries is a plus.
• Excellent communication, organizational, analytical skills, and attention to detail are essential.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines effectively.
• Demonstrated initiative and strong problem-solving skills required.
• Capacity to work both independently and collaboratively within a team.

Responsibilities

• Lead cost estimating for manufacturing projects and proposals for defense clients.
• Create Basis of Estimate documents for transparency in cost estimation.
• Support teams with budgeting, forecasting, and cost analysis.
• Provide cost estimates for ongoing projects and production.
• Collaborate with teams to address data discrepancies and reporting challenges.
• Identify and report inefficiencies in processes and systems.
