OverviewPOSITION SUMMARY:
The Sr. Corporate Tax Accountant will lead complex tax compliance and reporting processes, provide strategic tax planning support, design transfer pricing structure, and ensure adherence to global and local tax regulations.
WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING:
- Prepare, review, and file corporate income tax, withholding tax, and other statutory returns across multiple jurisdictions.
- Manage tax provisions, deferred tax calculations, and ensure accurate financial reporting under IFRS/GAAP.
- Research and interpret tax law changes, assess business impact, and advise management on compliance and planning strategies.
- Oversee tax audits and inquiries, acting as the primary liaison with tax authorities and external advisors.
- Lead transfer pricing documentation, country-by-country reporting, and international tax compliance initiatives.
- Drive process improvements and automation in tax reporting and compliance workflows.
- Collaborate with finance, legal, and business teams to optimize tax strategies for cross-border transactions.
- Maintain robust internal controls, tax policies, and documentation for risk management.
Qualifications
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Taxation; CPA/CTA or equivalent certification preferred.
- 5–8 years of progressive tax experience, including corporate and international tax compliance.
- Strong knowledge of global tax frameworks.
- Proficiency in tax software (SAP, Oracle, or similar) and advanced Excel skills.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Experience with tax automation tools and process optimization.
- Familiarity with transfer pricing, indirect taxes, and cross-border tax planning.
- Fluent in Chinese Mandarin (written and spoken).
- Ability to manage multiple projects.

- A competitive pay range of $90,000 - 105,000 (depending on experience).
- This will be a hybrid role based in Bellevue, WA.
