Join ENTRUST's Power Generation group as a part-time or full-time Sr. Consulting Engineer focused on supporting generator engineering activities. This position offers remote and hybrid schedule options with minimal travel required.
Responsibilities:
In this role, you will serve as a subject matter expert and key resource for power plant consulting projects, focusing on electrical generators, exciters, and auxiliaries. You will interpret project objectives and develop actionable plans to ensure schedule and hour targets are met or exceeded. Preparing for client meetings and leading discussions will be part of your responsibilities, as well as demonstrating your technical expertise in generator engineering to execute projects independently. You will assist management with business opportunities, conferences, and training sessions, while also interfacing with industry organizations such as EPRI. Additionally, you will be involved in field project execution, with travel requirements up to approximately 10-15%. This position pays between $120,000 and $150,000 annually and is an exempt position. Benefits offered include company-sponsored medical, dental, vision, and retirement program with company matches. Also offered are tuition reimbursement, voluntary life, disability, critical illness, accident and hospitalization plans. HSA or FSA medical accounts and FSA dependent care and transportation/parking accounts are also available. These benefits are subject to employee contribution amounts generally set annually. Full-time employees are eligible to earn PTO hours. May be eligible for discretionary bonus as determined by the company.
