Qualifications

• B.Sc. with at least 7 years of industry experience or M.Sc. with at least 5 years of industry experience.
• Strong communication and data management skills.
• Background in Immunology, Oncology, or Neurology.
• Proficient in molecular biology techniques including RNA/DNA extraction and purification.
• Experience with gene expression profiling, specifically RTPCR; familiarity with Affymetrix gene-chips is a plus.
• Proven expertise in standard in vitro tissue culture and handling suspension cell cultures.
• Knowledge of flow cytometry, microscopy, and automation techniques is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Conduct experiments utilizing molecular biology techniques for RNA/DNA extraction and quantification.
• Perform gene expression profiling using RTPCR and assist with microarray profiling.
• Manage in vitro cell culture, focusing on aseptic techniques for various cell types.
• Isolate immune cell sub-populations using magnetic bead methods.
• Process and analyze supernatants for cytokine measurements using ELISA and Luminex platforms.
• Develop assays for co-cultures and organoid systems to support various research projects.
• Handle small molecules and biologics for therapeutic cell treatments.
