  1. Role Summary


Senior Applications Expert (Construction) deliver construction technology consulting, implementation, training, and advisory services focused on improving preconstruction, construction, and operational business processes.

These experts work with owners, contractors, construction managers, and construction administrators to implement and optimize technology solutions that support planning, design coordination, project delivery, field execution, and lifecycle asset management. They serve as trusted advisors throughout the project lifecycle and help organizations maximize the value of their investments in construction technology.

  1. Major Responsibilities/Activities


  • Consult with customers to evaluate business processes, identify challenges, define objectives, and recommend technology solutions.
  • Lead discovery workshops and business process assessments related to preconstruction, project delivery, and digital transformation initiatives.
  • Work closely with sales staff and customers to document business goals, workflows, requirements, and desired outcomes.
  • Provide implementation, configuration, training, mentoring, coaching, and advisory services for construction technology solutions.
  • Create intellectual property including templates, best-practice guides, packaged services, workflows, and implementation methodologies.
  • Support the evaluation, implementation, and optimization of Autodesk Forma industry cloud.
  • Deliver software and industry-related presentations at seminars, conferences, user groups, workshops, webinars, and client sites.
  • Act as a brand ambassador while promoting IMAGINiT's construction technology expertise throughout the marketplace.
  • Continuously maintain and expand expertise regarding emerging construction technologies, industry trends, and best practices.


  1. Education Requirements


  • Degree in an industry related discipline such as Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Architecture, Building Construction, Engineering Technology, or other construction-related disciplines, or equivalent experience.


  1. Experience/Skill Requirements


  • 5 years of industry-related experience in a preconstruction or project delivery environment.
  • Familiarity with Autodesk Forma industry cloud (formerly Autodesk Construction Cloud) - BuildingConnected, Takeoff, Estimate, ProEst, Build, Cost Management) or equivalent construction technology platforms.
  • Experience developing analytics, dashboards, and reporting solutions using Microsoft Power BI or similar business intelligence platforms is preferred.
  • Must be able to relate with a diverse group of people with a wide variable of technical skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication and presentation skills.
  • Resourceful, with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong organizational, time and project management skills.
  • Strong business acumen, high energy, self-motivated and able to work under pressure.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.


5 Work Environment

  • This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines.

7 Travel

  • This position requires up to 20% travel. Travel is frequently by air, is outside the local area and overnight. Access to a reliable automobile and a valid driver's license are required as well as the ability to legally enter both Canada and the US.


Total Compensation
  • Salary $95,000 - $105,000
