Our Team, Your Impact

The Senior Analyst, Medicaid Rebates is responsible for the timely and accurate processing of Medicaid rebate claims and fees in accordance with state rebate contracts, CMS requirements, and internal procedures. This position supports the validation of invoiced units, rebate calculations, dispute management, and cash forecasting inputs. The Senior Analyst partners cross-functionally with internal stakeholders and state agencies to ensure compliance, resolve discrepancies, and contribute to accurate Gross-to-Net and Government Pricing impacts. The Senior Analyst also supports operational improvements, automation initiatives, and system enhancements.

How You'll Spend Your Day
• Reviews and interprets Medicaid contract terms and enters pricing, discount, and eligibility details into Model N/Flex in accordance with established procedures for the most complex state accounts.
• Processes and validates state Medicaid invoices, including review of Units/Rx, unit of measure conversions, claim-level accuracy, and preparation of rebate payment requests.
• Maintains and updates required validation and tracking mechanisms, including payment tracking, forecasting support files, state reconciliation documents, and unit validation tools.
• Identifies and documents invoice discrepancies; assists in preparing and supporting dispute packages related to ineligible claims, duplicate discounts, incorrect units, and product eligibility.
• Collaborates with Contract Compliance, Contracting, Value & Access, and Government Pricing to ensure adherence to contract parameters and resolve issues related to contract interpretation.
• Communicates with states and internal partners regarding rebate inquiries, validation questions, errors, and pending disputes.
• Supports retrieval and management of state invoices through BOTs, vendor portals, and third-party Medicaid services; assists in troubleshooting system or retrieval failures.
• Assists in the analysis of rebate trends, reconciliation variances, forecasting inputs, and other data insights for management reporting.
• Supports compliance with CMS regulations and state requirements; assists in evaluating the operational impact of regulatory or policy changes.
• Provides information and documentation for internal and external audits, including SOX and financial reporting requirements.
• Contributes to the development, maintenance, and improvement of departmental policies, SOPs, work instructions, and processing standards.
• Participates in system enhancements, automation initiatives, dashboard/reporting improvements, and other modernization efforts.
• Assists in any potential audits, both internal and external.
• Peer reviews state rebate payment packages and approves accounts for payment.

Your Skills and Experience
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, or related field, or equivalent combination of education and work experience.
• 2-4 years of pharmaceutical industry experience preferred, with direct exposure to Medicaid rebates, government pricing, contracting, or revenue management operations.
• Working knowledge of Medicaid rebate processes, invoice validation, dispute resolution, and related financial reconciliations.
• Experience with Model N/Flex, Validata, invoice retrieval BOTs, third-party Medicaid services, or other revenue management systems preferred.
• Strong analytical and data interpretation skills with proven ability to evaluate complex invoice and contract data.
• Solid understanding of unit of measure concepts and basic awareness of government pricing implications related to Medicaid rebates.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills; ability to collaborate effectively with internal teams and external state agencies.
• Strong organizational skills with demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and meet established deadlines.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.

Salary Range

The annual starting salary for this position is between $95,760- 119,700 annually. Factors which may affect starting salary within this range and level of role may include geography/market, skills, education, experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
